!! New Appointment Booking Process at The Revel Surgery.
We are excited to launch a new and more streamlined way of booking appointments. Our aim is that you will be able to access our services more efficiently, and within a timeframe appropriate for the request.
From Monday 31» March we will be introducing Total Triage. We will be asking our patients to use the NHS App or our practice website to submit requests for appointments and queries

You will be asked to complete a series of information gathering questions. This request will then go directly to a GP who will look at the reason for the request and then triage this into an appropriate appointment. Please be reassured a GP from our team will be looking at the requests and making clinical decisions based on the information given on the request. The GP may then contact you directly or ask a member of the reception team, to book an appointment.
Patients who don't have access to a mobile smart phone, digital device, or website, can still call reception. The team are happy to take you through this process and send the request on your behalf.
We will still be seeing you face to face and booking follow-ups when needed. The high standard of service and patient care we offer will not change.
We have already started a transition to this way of working and our reception team will be able to signpost and guide you through the changes in the next few weeks.
Please bear with us whilst we go through this transitional period, our end goal is to be seeing patients 'on the day' they need to be seen as a priority and booking the less urgent requests within 2-4 weeks. The appointment system should be fairer and more equitable. We would like to reassure you these requests and decisions are actioned by a member of the GP team.
