Just down the road from the Wolston village and set amongst twenty acres of beautiful, English countryside is Wolston Grange; a long established, family owned and run residential home. We support individuals living with dementia or with mental health needs by providing short and long term stays, respite and day care. Wolston Grange has been extensively remodelled to provide highly individualised support and personal care at all times in our three specialised environments. Built in 2010, the Barns is a five-bedroom modern barn conversion providing support encouragement for young people with early-onset dementia. The staff at The Barns pride themselves on knowing what a younger person with early-onset dementia needs and provides comfortable rooms to ensure a happy, welcoming and homely environment for all residents. The Lodge is a 6-bedded area attached to the main home that provides support and encouragement with daily living tasks for young people with mental health needs. The lodge has a devoted, multi-skilled team who have adopted a person-centred approach to care, adapting to a residents' challenging needs in a purpose built environment. The Wolston Grange main house is a specialist care facility for elderly people living with dementia. It has 26 spacious rooms, specifically designed for maximum comfort and relaxation. Wolston Grange’s scenic location lends itself nicely to plenty of green-fingered activities. The home has access to a lake for fishing, a crazy-golf course and an on-site vegetable allotment which the residents love tending to! The grounds and surrounding countryside are also home to an abundance of wildlife. Residents have a choice of comfortable, communal lounges where they can enjoy pursuing hobbies and interests or just simply relax. We have a cake shop and a bar when our residents enjoy catching up and socialising. Our team of highly qualified, caring and attentive staff focus on the individual personalities of all our residents. Their dedication and excellence can be observed across all aspects of care including hospitality, cooking and in organising activities and excursions for all of the residents such as aromatherapy, chess and cookery, as well as physical activities including cycling, gardening and painting and decorating. Wolston Grange provides the highest quality of care in a warm and homely environment. A daughter of one of our residents says “My mother was a resident of Wolston Grange for four years. During her time there she was always treated with kindness. The open door visiting policy meant that I could call in at any time. Never once did I find my mother anything other than clean and well dressed. My mother loved having her hair and nails done.”
