After such lovely feedback from the first Lifted, I’m so happy to be sharing a new date.

Lifted is a gentle afternoon of yoga, yin, myofascial release and yoga nidra, designed to help you slow right down, soften some of the weight of everyday life, and come back to yourself.

This time, we’ll be gathering in a beautiful new venue:

The last couple of Tuesday night Vinyasa Flow classes felt really special. For the first time, I brought both classes together at Ashlawn for one big class!

Such a lovely buzz before we began, all that shared movement and breath, and then that beautiful quiet as everyone dropped into the practice. 💛

We finished with dreamy yoga nidra (sleep) under the twinkling lights, which felt like such a special way to close the block. ✨

We’re now having a little Easter break, and classes will be back from 14 April.

I teach two friendly, welcoming classes on Tuesday evenings.

It’s a lovely way to move, stretch, build strength and carve out a little time for yourself in the week.

✨Dynamic Flow: intermediate/advanced level, 6.00pm to 7.00pm

✨Flow: beginners/moderate level
7.15pm to 8.15pm

It started with one of those everyday moments. I was making a cup of tea and realised my mind was already somewhere else, caught up in a conversation that hadn’t even happened yet. My body was in the kitchen, my mind off doing its own thing. 🤯I’m guessing that feels familiar.

This got me thinking about how easy it is to live in a split state, where our conscious awareness is separated from our physical actions.

Elephant Trunk Pose isn’t just the lift. The work starts long before the feet leave the mat. 🐘

Hip openness in Malasana and Lizard, and stability in Side Plank, set the body up to move well. Compression in Shooting Bow and the playful release of Happy Baby teach the body something new each time.

It’s not about looking perfect. Wobbles and shifts are just feedback for the body to learn and adapt.

The practice is in the process, not the final shape. Showing up and moving with awareness is where the progress really happens.
