🎄 A Heartwarming Christmas Recap at Rugby Care Centre! 🎄
As 2025 comes to a close, we are looking back with so much love at the absolute magic of this Christmas season! ✨
It has been a whirlwind of fun, fun, fun, and our residents have had a truly spectacular time. They have been showered with so many gifts this year and are feeling incredibly lucky and grateful. 🎁🙏
A celebration this grand takes a village, and we have some very special people to thank for making it all happen:
🌟 To Kerry Townsend (Activities Coordinator):
Kerry, a massive thank you for the countless hours you spent planning every single detail and activity for our lovely residents. Your dedication is the heartbeat of our home, and you made sure this Christmas was one to remember! ❤️✨
🚗 To Simon Townsend –
We want to give a special, loud shoutout to Simon. Even with a full-time job, Simon gave up so much of his own time to support us. He went the extra mile!—by using his own car to pick up the Dunelm gifts, ensuring they arrived safely for our residents. He also took our residents on wonderful tours around town to see the festive lights. 🌟
Most heartwarmingly, Simon personally accompanied one of our residents to church. This meant the world to them, allowing them to pray, sing, and feel the true spirit of the season within the community. Simon, without your help, support, and transport, the gift-giving and outings would not have been possible. You are a true star! ⭐️🙌
🧚♀️ To Sarah Harding & Glorily Bacoog-Fellows:
A huge shoutout to our wonderful Glorily, who truly became our "Little Elf" this year! 🧚♀️ From distributing gifts to decorating the home so beautifully, you spread so much joy and energy. And to Sarah Harding, thank you for the absolute, unwavering support you give every single day. You are a pillar of strength for this home, and we appreciate you more than words can say. 🌟💖
🎶 To Our Wonderful Community & The Gifts:
The generosity has been overwhelming! 🎁
Dunelm & the Residents of Rugby: Thank you for the incredible gifts—from cozy clothes and puzzle books to wine and chocolates. The residents were so excited to open them! 🍷🍫🧩
Gemma from Asda : For the very kind donations that made our celebrations even brighter. 🥂🎁
The Santa that puts the Chris in Christmas (Chris Clark): For being a fantastic Santa! 🎅❤️
Daisykins: For the beautiful singing that warmed our hearts. 🎶🎤
St Andrews Church: For the choir, the bell ringers, and Holy Communion. 🔔⛪
Gift of Years: For your meaningful weekly visits. 🤝💛
Carol & Cym: For making all our group trips and outings possible! 🚌✨
Simon Coats: For the incredible entertainment that got everyone dancing! 💃🕺
The Beavers: For the lovely handmade cards that are displayed proudly. 🎨💌
💖 To the Incredible Rugby Care Home Staff:
Finally, a MASSIVE THANK YOU to our entire staff team. Without your hard work, care, and support for each and every person, none of this would have been possible. You truly went above and beyond this festive season to make sure our residents felt like family! 🏆💪
To anyone we may have missed, please know we are deeply grateful. Our hearts are full, and our residents are smiling. Thank you for making Rugby such a happy place! 🌈💖
