To those who aren't aware, Carla Thompson sadly passed away on June 10,, 2024. All of her family, friends, and colleagues, are welcome to join a celebration of Carla’s life at St. Augustine’s Church, Rugeley at 11am on Tuesday, July 9th. Carla would want this to be a happy occasion, so please wear something to make this event bright and colourful.

With great sadness we have to announce that Carla passed away on Monday 10th June in hospital in Plymouth after a complicated illness. Despite her condition she continued working as a psychotherapist until mid March when her medication meant she could no longer continue. Carla was 84 years old.

We would like to send our condolences to all those who knew Carla as a friend or professionally. You will have touched her heart as much as she touched yours.

A celebration of Carla's life will be held on Tuesday 9th July at 11.am at St. Augustine's church, Rugeley, Staffordshire. All are welcome, Carla would want this to be a happy event and a chance to share memories, so please wear something to make this a bright and colourful occasion.

This voluntary counselling service offers mental health care for people in Cannock Chase. Open 3 mornings a week. Give them a call. It is a free service for people over 16. If you can give a donation to cover expenses, it would be well received, but if you can't, not to worry. Everyone is welcome.
