Mother’s Day at Talbot House was a lovely, gentle day spent celebrating the wonderful mothers and mother figures who are part of our home.

The team created a beautiful afternoon with tea, coffee and home-baked cakes, bringing everyone together to enjoy good conversation, sweet treats and a relaxed atmosphere.

Mother’s Day can mean different things to different people, but it’s always a special opportunity to recognise the care, love and life experiences that our residents share with us every day.

Thank you to our fantastic team for making the day feel warm, thoughtful and full of kindness for everyone who joined us.

Mother’s Day means something different for everyone. For some it’s a time to celebrate mums and grandmothers, for others it’s a moment to remember special memories and the people who have cared for us along the way.

Today we’re sending love to all the wonderful mothers, grandmothers and mother figures who are part of the Talbot Lodge family. Your stories, warmth and wisdom mean so much to everyone around you.

Join us for a Mother’s Day Celebration at Talbot House Care Home

We’re delighted to invite families, friends and members of the local community to join us for a relaxed afternoon celebrating Mother’s Day.

Pop in and enjoy tea, coffee and a selection of delicious home-baked cakes while spending time with loved ones in a warm and welcoming setting. It’s a lovely opportunity to celebrate all the wonderful mums, grandmothers and mother figures in our lives.

✨CARES Initiative February 2026✨ To celebrate Valentine’s Day this year, we thought it would be nice do something for a lovely couple in the local community. This month we picked Mr & Mrs Talbot, who have been married for 60 years! We gifted Mr & Mrs Talbot a Valentines hamper, and a lovely home made meal for 2 to support them to have a wonderful day together!
