Important News!
Starting Thursday, October 17th, we’re launching a new Total Triage booking system for routine GP appointments. Here’s what you need to know:
• No need for a phone call: Use our easy online consultation service anytime during working hours!
• Skip the queues: Fill out a form, and a GP will review it and get back to you with advice or an appointment.
• No logins required: Just your NHS number and date of birth needed.
• Support available: Our friendly reception team is here to assist anyone who cannot access the online system. We will be providing workshops, and guides to those who can!

Our GP practice IT systems are impacted by an IT outage. The clinical computer systems used by our surgery as well as the rest in Hillingdon are currently unable to access patient records, including telephone numbers and email addresses. Telephone appointments may not be possible until this matter is resolved.

If you have a telephone appointment booked and the issue is urgent you are advised to visit the practice or use NHS 111 online. If you are expecting a regular repeat prescription, you should visit your pharmacy, who can issue an urgent prescription covering 3 days.

If you require medical advice, please visit your community pharmacist or Get help for your symptoms - NHS 111 https://111.nhs.uk/

If you have been referred to a specialist through the NHS e-Referral Service, you can book, view, or cancel your first appointment by logging in to your NHS App or the NHS website.
Some NHS trusts require you to be aged 18 or over to view or manage appointments in the NHS App.

Wood Lane Medical Centre has been working with the NHS Digital Transformation Team in a pilot scheme to help support digital improvements within general practice.

With guidance and support from the Digital Transformation Team, we identified the following areas to focus on:

- Telephone Queues
- Appointment Availability
- Issues with PATCHS (online consultant service)
