Very many congratulations to my client, Jaswinder, who, having previously completed two bespoke marathons with me, and a trail multi-lap marathon, successfully ran her first ever road marathon event yesterday (on a hilly Milton Keynes course) 🥳

This week was our 476th week of Monday Night Running, and our 319th virtual MNR. It was also the first of our informal socials organised by the newly formed Dash Social Committee - with thanks to Jane R, Jane W, Judith, Karin, and Maria for a fun evening of Dash Trivia Bingo. The social followed straight after the informal group MNR at the Lido, which was enjoyed by 19 of the 23 Dashers that did an MNR.

Dashers were very active over the weekend, with Jay doing the Virtual London Marathon, whilst Jane realised a life-long dream by running her first ever Marathon, as she completed the actual London Marathon (and loved every minute!). Elsewhere Claire overcame the Run the Wild Trail 10k; and, after 8-years of planning, Nicky did the stunning Studland 10k (and said it exceeded her long-anticipated expectations). Finally, 12 Dashers did Parkruns, with 7 of them helping Harrow celebrate it's 500th🥳

Very many congratulations to those of my clients who did Sunday’s London Marathon: Carl, Danny, Hannah, Jane, Nathan, and Roshana. They all successfully completed it 🥳 Carl, Hannah, and Jane were doing their first ever marathons, Danny and Roshana were doing just their second ones, whilst Nathan was completing his second in 2 weeks (and beat his Paris time by over 15mins)!

Very many congratulations to my clients Helen and Yuka who both successfully achieved marathon firsts at the weekend. Helen ran her first-ever marathon at the Manchester Marathon, and Yuka got a Personal Best at the Newport Marathon (and went sub-4 hours for the first time ever) 🥳

This week was our 475th week of Monday Night Running, and our 318th virtual MNR. It was great to welcome back Jay to the informal group MNR at the Ruislip Lido, along with 16 of the other 22 Dashers that did an MNR.

Dashers were also active over the weekend, with Claire overcoming the hilly Eridge Trail Half Marathon; Suzy T completing the Newport 10k (her first international); Beth, Cliff, Jane R, Jo, John, Judith, Karin, Ken, Sue N, Sue W, and Susmita all "eventing" at Gunnersbury Park, with most of them doing the 5k Parkrun and West London 10k (in the same morning).

In total, 11 people with Dash for Fitness registered as their club did Parkruns, with Hannah getting a PB at the new one at Holywell🥳

Very many congratulations to my clients John and Nathan who both successfully completed marathons at the weekend, with John doing the Brighton Marathon for the 8th time, and Nathan finishing the Paris Marathon (as a training run for London!).

This week was our 474th week of Monday Night Running, and our 317th virtual MNR. It was also the first time this year that we'd held the informal group MNR at the Ruislip Lido, with 16 of the 22 participants joining us there.

Dashers were also active elsewhere, with: Maria successfully taking on the Paris Marathon; Claire, Fiona, John, and Susmita taking part in group 5k Masterclass sessions at the track; whilst 11 others (with Dash For Fitness registered as their club) did Parkruns, including Shama who did her 300th at Cassiobury Park, and Judith and Lauran who did theirs in South Africa!

This week was our 473rd week of Monday Night Running, and our 316th virtual MNR. Despite the holiday weekend, there were plenty of Dashers still running, with 24 participating in the MNR.

Dashers were also active elsewhere, with: Claire, Hannah (and Matt), Iain, and Lucy completing the Beaconsfield 5 (8k), and 6 others (with Dash For Fitness registered as their club) doing Parkruns, with Hannah's at Cheltenham being the fastest and furthest. The Betsons were also out in force at the Ricky Parkrun, celebrating Lucy's 21st.

Last week also saw the start of our 5k Masterclass medal challenge, where, at the optional group interval session at the track, Claire, Fiona, John, Susmita, and Simon all smashed their 6*400m targets.

This week was our 472nd week of Monday Night Running, and our 315th virtual MNR. And a shout out for Sarah, as it was her 250th MNR 🥳 Talking about achievements, Claire and Rajeshree both completed the Kew Gardens Half Marathon, with the latter getting a new PB. And a record 14 Dashers did Parkruns, with Susmita's one at Palermo taking the "furthest away" prize.

I should also say that, on hearing the news of her 250, Sarah said: "Wow, I didn't realise I'd done so many MNRs, especially as I stopped running for over a year when life became a bit too busy! I came back because I missed running and I missed the people. Dash for Fitness is such a friendly and supportive group. It doesn't matter whether you're wanting to walk 5k or train for an ultramarathon, everyone's welcome and encouraged to achieve their fitness goals."

This week was our 471st week of Monday Night Running, and our 314th virtual MNR. It was great to welcome newbies Susmita and John at the informal group MNR, and be able to present Maria and Claire with their medals for "The 28" Challenge.

It's been a great week for achievements with: Dawn doing the Rome Marathon; Maria completing the Hillingdon AC 20-Mile Race (H20), of which Preeti did a lap as a half-marathon recovery run!; Claire finishing the Windsor 10k Trail Run, and 9 Dashers doing Parkruns. Word of thanks also to all the fabulous H20 marshals, of which Iain was one, and to Ken, Suzy N, and Lauren (plus Craig) for cheering everyone on.

This week was our 470th week of Monday Night Running, and our 313th virtual MNR. And it was great to be able to present Debbie with a medal for completing her 300th MNR. We had 16 Dashers taking part, whilst 9 Dashers took part in Parkruns, with Hannah's Glasgow parkrun taking the prize for furthest travelled.

We also held the first of our quarterly socials organised by me, where I presented medals for our last challenge (the 28), and hosted a guess the challenge team game. The next quarterly social will be mid-June (and the newly-formed social team of Jane R, Jane W, Judith, Karin, and Maria are also planning others).
