🌳 🌳 𝗞𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀 – 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟱 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 🌳
Rushden Town Council is inviting residents to help decorate Hall Park with colourful, handmade Tree Huggers as part of the community celebrations.

We are seeking contributions from those who can knit or crochet:
Flowers –
• Any colour or yarn
• Simple patterns welcome
• Size minimum 3 inches in width

Squares –
• Each square should measure 8 inches x 8 inches
• Any colour combinations welcome (double knitting wool preferred)
• Squares will be used to create the Tree Hugger wraps
Please leave tails on all.

Visit the Friends of Rushden Hall group on Friday afternoons, 1.30 – 3.30 pm at Rushden Hall. Discuss your ideas with the organisers while enjoying complimentary tea and biscuits. This group runs every Friday and is part of the Warm Welcome Campaign.

Completed items and wool contributions can be dropped off at Rushden Hall. Hall Park. Rushden NN10 9NG or brought to the Friday group.

We’ve made a huge £561!! We couldn’t be more happy with the support and turn out!
Huge thanks to Hayley, Lisa, Shannon, Michelle, Vicky, Magda and John for coming in on their days off to help out! Plus Sophie for all the signage, Tammy and her partner making the balloon arch, Pam helping with drinks, Michelle’s dad Ray helping with the tombola and last but by no means least Bony and Jodie as our Easter bunnies! 🤩 you’re all incredible!
