Over the next few weeks in classes I will be bringing in cakes to sell and extending the relaxation session for donations to the local dog rescue in Devon for a Christmas dinner for the dogs that at the moment do not have a home 🩷

How to Do “Legs Up the Wall Pose” (Viparita Karani):
1. Sit close to a wall with one side of your body touching it.
2. Lie back slowly and swing your legs up onto the wall.
3. Adjust so your hips are near (but not pressing against) the wall.
4. Rest your arms out to the sides, palms facing up.
5. Keep your spine relaxed and breathe deeply.
6. Stay in the pose for 5–10 minutes, then gently roll to one side to come out.

✅ Tip: You can place a cushion under your hips for added comfort

Life is full of opinions, judgments, and expectations. Not everyone will understand you, agree with you, or even like you — and that’s perfectly fine. People’s dislikes often reflect their own biases, insecurities, or misunderstandings, not your worth.

But here’s a thought to ponder: if dogs don’t like you, that’s when it’s time to pause and reflect. Dogs are honest, intuitive, and unpretentious — they sense your energy, your kindness, or your intentions. If a dog feels uneasy around you, maybe it’s a sign to look inward. Are you radiating negativity, distrust, or fear? Are you forgetting compassion, patience, or authenticity?

Humans will pass judgment; animals will mirror your true energy. Focus on being kind, genuine, and mindful. Let people’s opinions roll off your back, but never ignore the lessons that life — and even dogs — quietly offer.

🐶 Be someone even a dog would trust. That’s the true measure of character.
