☀️🌿🌹Welcoming ladies to the next Women’s Sacred Drum Group - Friday 19th September - 11:00-12:30✨☀️🌿🌹
We are a group of women who meet monthly at a beautiful spot tucked away on the land at Stanwick Lakes. We come together using shamanic drums, chants and meditations that connect us with the heartbeat of the land and our selves on a deeper level beyond the everyday roles and responsibilities of life. So if you feel at home in nature, would like to connect to women who ‘dance to the beat of their own drum’ and inspire others to do so, then please come along and meet some wonderful women, learn about shamanic drumming and leave feeling uplifted. We have drums to borrow just bring a camping chair or something to sit on. The exchange is £5. No booking required.

Are you looking for your tribe? Do you feel connected to Nature and Source? Maybe you already have a spiritual practice, or your just starting to open a door to more spiritual meanings in life. Wherever you’re at right now I invite you to come along to our Women’s Sacred Drum Circle. It’s shamanic drumming, but it’s not all about drumming and you don’t have to have any musical experience. The drum is an ancient sacred tool that connects us to the heartbeat if who we really are. In this space we gain nourishment from the ‘energy field’ created by the group and the natural environment around us. We share, we drum and we move through life’s challenges with the support of each other.

11-12:30pm at Stanwick Lakes

Our Women’s group meets monthly around the time of the new moons, tucked away in a beautiful spot off the beaten track by one of the lakes. If you feel called to join us all you need to do is bring a camping chair to sit on, dress for the weather and bring an open heart. We drum because drumming is good for our health, it’s proven to lower blood pressure, reduce anxiety, bring about a relaxed and balanced state plus more…Combined with the ethos of ‘women supporting women’, we encourage, share and hold space for each other. It’s not just a drum group it’s a tribe ☀️🧡☀️

If at least a bit of wisdom doesn’t come with age then what are we doing here? Just days away from yet another birthday and those reliable yearly thoughts return, ‘how the hell am I this old!’ I know time goes quickly when your having fun but I didn’t know I was having THAT much fun. So reflection for me on this Solstice is trying to stay centred, just allowing the storms to rage around me. Let things pass and let things go, especially resistance to change💫🎄❤️ and share some wise words from those who know 🙏🏻
