K Lodge - a “Home from Home” with all the benefits of loving care, support and the security you need 24 hours a day. You will be cared for by an expert team of professional staff who are fully committed to looking after you with love and affection. K Lodge is situated in the small idyllic Town of Higham Ferrers, approximately 20 minutes drive from Northampton Town Centre, off A6/A45 near Rushden and only 10 minutes’ drive from Wellingborough, the nearest large town centre. Higham Ferrers is a village with facilities and amenities typical of a small town of this kind such as a – Small Super market, a post office, doctors’ surgery, chemist public library and other small shops, restaurants/cafes, churches and many others. The home is consisted of 32 single bedrooms including 2 double bedrooms, of which 24 rooms have en-suite facilities. The Home is registered for 34 service users of mixed s*x. All the bedrooms are fully furnished with Emergency Response system (Nurse-call). Communal areas such as living rooms, dining rooms and quiet rooms are provided for socialising and relaxation. At the rear of the home there is a well maintained large and beautifully landscaped garden incorporating sensory stimulating aspects such as a large aviary, fish pond, shrubs, trees, flowers, and pathways with conveniently placed seating. Handrails and wheelchair access is provided to assist residents with limited mobility so that all our service users can enjoy the great outdoors.
