The sun began to shine so we went on a shopping trip into the village this afternoon. ☀️

This morning we have been getting competitive with a few rounds of ‘Team Boules’ in the lounge! Red team were today’s winners!

Tony - who maintains the home and garden at Chestnuts has been busy this week cleaning the paved area of the garden and what a difference it has made - it looks like new again! We are looking forward to getting out there in springtime and doing some gardening and enjoying the sunshine and it sounds like we have some keen gardeners amongst us!
If anyone has any large plant pots that they are thinking or getting rid of - please do get in touch!

We managed a couple of trips into the village yesterday before the rain arrived today.
We have been keeping busy indoors today with giant dominoes this morning and a few rounds of Bingo this afternoon. ☔️🌧️

This jigsaw turned out to be a lot harder than first anticipated! But a huge well done to this lady who didn’t give up and has worked hard completing it over the last couple of days!

Thank you to Pete and Cath from Sleaford Rotary Club who came to visit us this afternoon bringing Toto their dog.
We were pleased to see Toto again and she seemed very pleased to be back for more strokes and treats!
We held a games and puzzle afternoon - helped by Pete and Cath.
We look forward to our visit next month from the volunteers at Sleaford Rotary Club.

It’s been a busy afternoon at Chestnuts! Our ladies were very pleased to see Gail the hairdresser for her first visit of 2026!
We even managed a couple of shopping trips into the village to stock up on essentials too!
