Last official clinic day for me tomorrow (27th) before holibobs and then straight into my university journey in physiotherapy.

Hi All.
There will be no clinic today or on Wednesday the 3rd September. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. I will be in clinic next week (13th). My availability will be changing significantly from September as I am off to university to step things up and study physiotherapy 🥳
I will keep you updated on here as and when I have more information and what availability I have moving forwards, as always if I can make it work to suit you - I will. Mobile appointments will be available around my uni schedule, etc.
I'd like to thank you all for helping me build a little business as without my lovely clients I wouldn't be one.
The biggest thank you goes to AUK Hair Aesthetics Gym. Chris and his awesome team have been incredible. These guys, with their drive for great client experiences, education and knowledge, have been completely inspiring. It has truly been a pleasure to work alongside them and contribute to their ever expanding repertoire of fantastic services. Excited to share with you some new therapy offerings.
Therapeutic Ultrasound - A medically certified ultrasound device which generates hight frequency sound waves which pe*****te deep tissues, to increase blood flow to a specific area. It is used for pain relief, muscle spasms and can help breakdown scar tissue from previous injury, has shown promising results in reducing arthritis associated pain, helping to restore optimal range of movement. Therapeutic ultrasound can speed up the healing process from acute injury or surgery. It is used as a complementary therapy along side massage and other treatments.

Is it painful?
Absolutely not, it is thought to be very relaxing, you will likely experience warmth from the device but nothing more.

I'm starting with a few information posts to try and help people understand their symptoms .The first being PLANTAR FACIITIS: this is the fancy name for inflammation of the plantar fascia which is a part of your foot that connects your heel bone to your toes.
Suffers may experience pain around the heel and/or the arch of the foot.
You can usually help plantar fasciitis with things like rest, ice packs and comfortable shoes. If this sounds like something painfully familiar to you.
