Patient Experience Survey

This survey is for patients who have used Rapid Health Triage from the Westcourt Medical Centres’ Patient Participation Group (PPG). A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of patients who work with the practice to give feedback and help improve services for everyone. Your feedback will help us understand what is working well and where we can recommend improvements.

All responses are anonymous and confidential.

In Surrey and Sussex, people aged 50 to 74 who are registered with a GP are sent a bowel cancer screening home test kit (FIT kit) every two years.

The home test kit is posted to your home address.

If you were born after 1 June 1974, you should receive your first test kit when you turn 50. If you were born before 1 June 1974, you will receive your first kit when you turn 52.

If you are aged 75 or over, you can still have bowel screening every two years by requesting a test kit.

For any queries, call the free helpline on 0800 707 60 60 or email rsc-tr.BCSPSouthernHub@nhs.net

We want to make sure you get the care you need.

A&E is here for life-threatening emergencies but choosing another service when you can helps keep it ready for those who need it most.

To help find the right NHS service for your needs, contact NHS 111 or go online to share your symptoms and get advice on what to do.

⚠️ IT issues in GP practices in Surrey and Sussex

Some GP practices across Sussex, Surrey and Kent are being affected by IT issues preventing them from accessing some clinical systems. We are aware this is causing disruption for GP practices and technical teams are working urgently to resolve issues.

GP practices are still open as normal, but some are experiencing issues with connecting to the internet. Please continue to contact your practice and attend your appointments as you normally would, unless your GP surgery contacts you directly.

Thank you for your understanding and kindness towards practice staff, who are doing their best to support patients during this time.

There is a national network issue which is currently affecting the surgery and we have limited access to many systems. Please bear with us whilst our IT providers rectify the situation. At present they are unable to give us a timeframe. Thank you for your understanding

We are currently experiencing network issues which are causing our systems to run very slowly. This may result in longer waiting times than usual.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we work to resolve the issue.
