It's Grief Awareness Week, and at Waves we support bereaved children, young people and those with complex needs who come to us because music offers a safe, gentle way to explore feelings in their own time, without needing to find the words.
We are pleased to offer a space where people can share how they are and have someone walk alongside them, with music supporting that journey for as long as they need.

What an incredible evening raising funds in memory of Toby Finnett .
We are ecstatic to announce that thanks to the generosity of our guests we raised a phenomenal £7864.81!!!! Our huge thanks to everyone who supported, organised and helped on the night. 100% of those funds will go directly to support young people's mental health and wellbeing through music.

As we end this Trustee Week I want to recognise our 6 incredible, ambitious and blooming lovely Trustees who give huge amounts of energy, enthusiasm, time and guidance to Waves. Under their stewardship Waves has once again had another year of fantastic opportunities and significant growth.
We are incredibly lucky to be guided by 6 people who each bring something exceptional to the table; spanning finance, higher education, the NHS, the corporate sector, advertising and the charity sector. That mix of experience, insight and lived understanding strengthens every decision we make and keeps us focused on making music therapy accessible to the people who need it most.
