It was my beautiful step sons wedding this weekend with a 1920’s theme 🥰 The day was amazing and I cannot tell you how fab I felt! We are all worth it to feel good about ourselves, comfortable in our own skin and love what we see when we look in the mirror!
At Slimming Workd, not only do we have the best plan where you can eat amazing food and never go hungry but the support from group really is invaluable!
A safe space full of incredible people, helping and supporting each other, there is friendship, laughter and so much more!

What an incredible lady, so heartbreaking to share this news 💔 x

It is with deep sadness that we share the news that our beloved founder Margaret Miles-Bramwell OBE passed away earlier today, surrounded by her family.

As well as being our guiding star and the beating heart and soul of Slimming World, Margaret will be remembered for being a much loved mum, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Since founding our precious organisation 55 years ago, she has loved, nurtured and protected it – along with each and every member, staff member and Consultant who’s been a part of the Slimming World family. Margaret steered her ship in the way she lived her life – with a generous spirit, passionate conviction, a wicked (and rebellious!) sense of humour and a fierce belief in doing the right thing.

Her determination to help people shed the burden of excess weight without shame or guilt has seen Slimming World grow from a single group in 1969 to the global authority in weight management that it is today. She undoubtedly touched hearts and changed lives for millions of people – and for all of us who knew and loved her. She’ll continue to do so for many more years to come.

Our thoughts are with Margaret’s family. We take comfort, as we’re sure they do, in the hope that Margaret is now reunited with her beloved Tony – sailing off into the sunset together. https://bit.ly/42F5Eia

Meet Kim, one of our fabulous social team members. She has done amazing and is such an inspiration in group, we couldn’t be prouder of her 🥰 She says

“14 months ago I was so unhappy with myself, I’d had a knee replacement the year before and my other knee needed doing so I was desperate to put that off as long as possible, I knew losing weight would help. I’d lost 6 stone a few years before but then just after Covid my younger sister then my mum passed away 6months apart and I turned back to comfort eating and soon that weight piled back on.
After I saw myself in the picture I knew I had to do it so last October I walked into my local slimming world and my life started to become mine again. With the help and support of the lovely Cara my consultant and the other people in the group I really felt motivated and now 14 months on and 5 1/2 stone off I feel amazing. I can go on long walks again my knee is so much easier and I have my confidence back, I love the food plan it’s so easy to follow ……I’ve had a few ups and downs with going on holiday and such but I just got straight back on it. My advice to anyone wanting to get to a happier healthier weight is to just walk through those doors you will always get a warm welcome, no judgement and loads and loads of support, stay to group have some you time and make new friends who know just how hard losing weight can be and are always there to offer advice and inspiration.
Wearing this dress at the Christmas party, I felt incredible and so proud of myself! It’s not just the weight you lose but the life you gain” 🥰

It’s never too early to start losing weight for Summer! ☀️ Nothing beats the feeling of being able to take lovely clothes on holiday, to have the confidence to wear them, know they will fit and to feel amazing while wearing them 💕
To be able to wear a swimming costume and not to feel self conscious. To be able to love what you see when you look in the mirror, we all deserve to feel like that about ourselves.
