This Easter, we wanted to give back to those who give so much every single day 💛

We had the pleasure of delivering hamper boxes to our local care homes as a small token of appreciation for the incredible hard work, compassion, and dedication shown by their teams.

Thank you for everything you do to care for others – not just at Easter, but all year round. You truly make a difference 🐣🌷

We are delighted to share that we received over 250 Easter eggs, which were proudly delivered by our very own Easter Bunny Terry to local children throughout our community.

We'd like to say a heartfelt thank you to St Columbkille's Church and their parishioners, The Burnside Hotel, and our families for their constant generosity and support. Your kindness helps us continue giving back and making occasions like this extra special for local children.

Thank you all - your support truly means so much to us 💛

From all of us at George S Munn

Easter can be a comforting time for some, and a painful reminder of loss for others. If you’re finding this season difficult, you’re not alone. 💜

Here are a few gentle ways to take care of yourself this Easter:
• Allow yourself to feel whatever comes up - there’s no right or wrong way to grieve.
• Mark the moment in your own way, whether that’s lighting a candle, visiting a special place, or quietly remembering.
• Take things at your own pace - it’s okay to change traditions or step back if you need to.
• Reach out for support if it feels helpful.

If you’d like to speak to someone outside your immediate circle, these organisations offer trusted support:

It was a real pleasure for Terry King, our dedicated Funeral Director, to catch up with Father Bernard Mournian. Moments like these are a great reminder of the strength and compassion within our community.

We were proud to hand over our annual cheque in support of St Columbkille's Church, whose ongoing work continues to make such a meaningful difference to so many lives.

The commitment, kindness, and tireless effort shown by everyone involved in the parish never goes unnoticed. We’re grateful to play even a small part in supporting the incredible work they do all year round.

Here’s to continued partnership, community spirit, and making a positive difference together.

In the last week we had lots going on, celebrating Mothers Day, St Patricks Day and Scotland rugby too.

Our lovely staff, volunteers and supporters made it extra special for our Inpatient Unit as you can see from these photos.

Young Cain visited with his dad and made it more cheerful with beautiful flowers donated by George S Munn funeral Directors Fishescoats.

A special mothers day tea was put on for families , along with treats for the rugby and St Patricks Day too.

We are so grateful to be able to create special memories for our inpatients and their families thanks to everyone who supports us 💙
