🏋🏼‍♀️A quiet moment before the lift

‼️but this part matters just as much as the rep itself

I’ve learned (sometimes the hard way) that preparation isn’t just about performance, it’s about protection

🏊‍♀️I swam growing up and caused myself an issue with my shoulder. It makes pressing movements uncomfortable and so the way I prepare is really important

Whether you’re chasing a goal, rebuilding after an injury, or just trying to stay consistent the way you prepare shapes everything

Injury taught me that prevention really is better than cure

🧱 Warming up, staying mobile, listening to my body: it’s not just ‘extra stuff’, it’s the foundation!

And when setbacks happen (because they do), preparing to come back with patience and care is what gets you moving again.

So yeah, I’m not just getting ready to press in this photo

It’s a quiet kind of discipline, but it adds up

“This is the best day I’ve ever lived ever”

Same wee man 🤙🏼

When the sun comes out in Scotland you’ve got to make the most of it and we did

🌊We spent the weekend paddle boarding, exploring the sea, collecting shells, spotting crabs starfish and jellyfish

I was able to do all of this with the kids in my family because I care about staying active and having fun

⛔️I’m not the strongest person in the world
⛔️I’m not the fittest
⛔️I’m not the most flexible

But I work hard in the gym to make sure I can lift, carry and move in a way that lets me keep up with the kids

It’s not perfect
But it lets me show up for moments like this

🙌🏼So I can keep saying yes to rock pools, chases on the beach, sandcastles, piggybacks and the outdoors with the people that mean the most

Not every day feels strong
Not every day feels like it’s possible

But if you’re able to keep moving - do it
If you’re able to keep trying - do it

All the small efforts lead to the big results

Not for the aesthetics
Not for the ego
Not for anyone else

But for you
Your enjoyment
Your fulfilment

This is the best day I’ve ever lived ever

Evening walks hit different ✨

We got together last night for a wee walk as a gym group — nothing fancy, just fresh air, good chat, and gentle movement

Walking is such an underrated form of activity

🟣 It’s low-impact
🟣 It’s accessible
🟣 It’s an easy way to connect with friends
🟣 It’s a brilliant way to ease back into activity if you’re recovering from injury or just looking to build your movement back up

☀️ The weather in Glasgow is to be stunning this weekend. Gather your family or friends and get outdoors to enjoy it. Don’t forget the sunscreen!

No pressure, no pace — just one step at a time (literally 💫). Big thanks to everyone who came along

Moments like this are why I do what I do

Helping people move better, feel stronger and trust their bodies again

That’s the goal every day

Now that there is more availability, especially after school and work, it’s even easier to work with me

🦶Sometimes you have to walk away from the thing you like to give everything to the thing that you love

🧡 Thank you everything to Motherwell Women. The 24/25 season gave me a lot of great memories

But it’s time to step away

‼️It’s time to go all in on Glasgow Physio and Performance

🚪It’s time to open the doors for more hours, more people and more opportunities

💜With this decision it means that I can welcome you, no matter what team you play for no matter what level you play at, in to the clinic

We can use the amazing facility that we have created to help you:

✅ Return to play faster
✅ Understand exactly what you can do
✅ Keep playing despite your discomfort
✅ Push the boundaries and do things a bit differently

A special weekend celebrating my mum’s 60th down in The Lake District 🎉

Plenty of laughs, good food, and the kind of dancing that makes you grateful for strong knees and a decent physio on standby 😅

Movement is the single best thing we can do for our health, wellbeing and longevity

It doesn’t just have to be strength training or taking part in sport

Thoughtful, mindful movement where we connect with our bodies brings us back to ourselves

It lets us destress, move independently, keep playing with the kids, sleep better, feel rested

Movement gives us energy

Movement gives us confidence

Movement shows us what we can do

Last nights walk at the wind farm was a perfect reminder that movement doesn’t have to be complicated 🍃🚶‍♀️

Sometimes the best therapy, physical mental emotional or spiritual, is simply putting one foot in front of the other, feeling the fresh air and letting your body reconnect with the world around you 🌍

Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing aches, or just trying to move more mindfully remember it’s the small consistent steps that add up to big changes ♥️

It was great getting together as a group from for this. Lots of laughter, lots of fun and lots of togetherness kept the vibes high the whole way!

👎🏼 I didn’t become a Physio just to treat injuries

👍🏼 I became a Physio to help people reconnect with their bodies

💪🏼 And realise they are far more capable than they’ve been led to believe

Over the past 12 years I’ve worked in private clinics and professional sport

And it doesn’t matter if you’re an elite athlete or an everyday mover

The one thing that stays the same:

👉🏻 People want to feel good in their bodies

Not just pain free - but strong, confident and in control

Too often I meet people who have been told:

❌ Just rest
❌ Avoid that movement
❌ You just have to live with it

I wasn’t happy with that advice and I knew there was a better way

More than fear
More than fragility

✅ And that’s why Glasgow Physio and Performance exists
