South Island Sevens 2023

Therapist for Ryde Rhinos & South Island Sundays🏉

This tournament was definitely a learning curve of a weekend for me as a therapist and as a person. I dealt with the most serious injury that I have ever experienced as a therapist and it was definitely a scary situation to be in.

Unfortunately one of my beach rugby players suffered a C spine injury during a tackle. Managing an injury like this is something that we are trained to deal with but hope we never have to.

With the help of other therapists, lifeguards, paramedics and coastguards we managed to get the player safely into an ambulance and to hospital.

I can’t thank enough everyone enough that helped me that day and since it has been much appreciated ❤️

🥳 RUGBY IS BACK!! 🥳

Awesome first pre season session in the sunshine with the Hurries, with lots of new and returning players ☀️

It’s good to be back with the boys, now time to get ready for the season 🏉💪🏻

It’s been a while since I last posted so let’s have a catch up…

It’s been a busy few months and there’s even more in the pipeline 🤫

The rugby season came to a close with my SSRFC boys. It was one hell of season with many ups and downs, but the boys always put shift in and it shows in the results. To wrap up the season we got to celebrate at our end of season awards which is always a good time 🏉

My work at Cowes Chiropractic Clinic has continued to get busier. I have loved treating all my patients with many success stories. I am surrounded by the best colleagues and have enjoyed learning from them and even getting treated myself 🩵

Going forward I have many things coming up including 7s tournaments, pre season training and other events throughout the summer and of course my continuing work at the clinic. Very excited for all these things to come🥳
