Mumabuba Antenatal & Postnatal Fitness Get your antenatal and postnatal fitness with a qualified coach in a small personal group session

I had my first baby in June 2021 and was able to keep fit and active throughout my pregnancy which I believe led to a better pregnancy and birth experience, both mentally and physically. I have also trained many pre and postnatal ladies at our CrossFit gym, and they all believe the same. It wasn’t until after having my daughter though, that I fully understood how hard it is to get back on track with fitness when you don’t always have childcare, and you need to fit it around
feeding/napping times and trying to do some housework! Having looked across the Island, I couldn’t find any pre or postnatal fitness classes – only yoga and pilates, and these don’t particularly work on our strength and lung fitness which we all need to get through pregnancy, labour and looking after a baby. I have a Pre and Postnatal Coaching Qualification, CrossFit Level 2 Trainer Certification, and am also an Advanced Sports and Exercise Nutritional Advisor.

Great 1st week back .iow Pre and Postnatal Specialist Fitness Classes.
The girls got stuck in as always, with some great core accessory work followed by a challenging triplet of weights, body weight/gymnastic exercises and some good cardio! Well done mums! Roll on next week…

We’ve had a BRILLIANT 6 week course with our new mummies and mummies-to-be!
The girls have worked so hard, learning new movements, working on their core, and massively improving their overall strength and fitness!💪🏻

They’re feeling better about themselves, and have learned methodologies for lifting and moving those awkward items, such as buggies and car seats. Their resilience to keep trying (even when they’ve not had a great night sleep!), has been admirable! Super proud of the girls!

If you have been thinking for a while that you need to try and work on your fitness, help yourself to be able to do those everyday tasks a little bit easier, or just need a bit of time to do something positive for yourself, then NOW is the time! No more excuses - let’s just do this!
