Update… thankfully google have now removed the fake reviews, it took five days and me having to escalate the case, send pictures of the texts and obscene images this guy had sent me and then complain about google support. I was not able to speak to anyone at google and during the time the reviews were allowed to sit on my business google page I didn’t receive any new enquiries or bookings which is not usual for my business.

All of this has happened whilst I have been taking a holiday and taking a rest, not the most restful few days but it has turned out well in the end. It makes you realise how vulnerable small businesses are to fake reviewers etc

Hello all, my small business has unfortunately been targeted by a fake reviewer along with a couple of other small businesses on the island. He has left me a couple of 1 star ratings and cleverly no text so it is proving very difficult to get google to remove them as they do not violate any policies! He has also harassed me with jibberish texts and obscene images 🤮 which I will be taking to the police.

Anyway it is having a detrimental affect on my business and so please could I ask any of you that have had a treatment with me to kindly leave me a review (hopefully a good one 😉), I am hoping that I can bury the fake ratings and bring my business back up to the 5 star rating it was before.
