Meet the faces behind Maximus Support Services!

This is Paige she has been with Maximus for about 4 months. She has 2 years experience with Adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism, in a residential setting.

When talking to Paige she said 'Maximus helps the individual achieve things that they might not of thought was possible and it’s amazing to see the individuals succeed in different things. It's great being a part of this team!
The recruitment process was really easy and I was informed on what was happening at every step and it was less stressful compared to other places. The management and leadership at Maximus are amazing, they are always there to support you and the team, even for the smallest things.'

Outside of work Paige enjoys volunteering with a local carnival group for children, which helps them to learn new skills too. She also spends time with her family.

We are recruiting!
Role: Senior Community Lead based on the Isle of Wight- Contracted 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday.
Your role will be a blend of support, office administrative duties and on-call. This position would suit a skilled senior support team member who wants that key regular interaction with people supported as well as other duties.
It would also suit a very experienced carer wanting to take that next step in their career with a high level of support and nurturing around them.
Pay: £13.50ph - £14.20ph - determined on experience and skills
5.6 weeks annual leave
1.5 rate on bank holidays if required to work
35p per mile for travel between work locations during working hours and on-call
On-call payment:
Based on 1 in 4-6weeks on-call - £210.00 per week of on-call
This excludes payment for hours worked on-call outside of administrative duties and you will be paid on the hour for extras. There will always be support around you when you are on-call.

Meet the faces behind Maximus Support Services!

This is Tom, he's been with Maximus since August 2022. Tom supports the everyday needs of our individuals; but part of his role is to support our individuals to transition from one setting to another, successfully.

When talking to Tom he said 'before joining Maximus, I gained extensive experience in various care settings from supporting people with learning disabilities and autism to working with the elderly in residential homes.
What I love most about care work is the human connection, seeing someone smile or achieve a little more independence because of my support, makes it deeply rewarding which makes a huge difference in our line of work.'

Tom went on to say that outside of work, he's passionate about music production and exploring creative ways to blend music with mental well-being. 🎶 🥰

This is Precious, she has been with Maximus just over 4 months.

Precious has 3 years experience of working with children with disabilities and a year with the NHS prior to joining Maximus.
When talking to Precious she said 'for me, supporting individuals is not a job, its a passion. Being part of this amazing team gives me the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and contribute to improving lives to the best of my ability.'

In her spare time Precious likes spending time with loved ones, reading, cooking and teaching.

This is Babafemi, he has been with Maximus for 4 months now.

When talking with Babafemi he said 'the management team are lovely, not only do they care about the service users, they care about the staff too. They have taught me how best to support our individuals. At Maximus we promote independence, support with decision making and ensuring dignity and respect is maintained. I enjoy my job as we assist vulnerable people to achieve goals through day to day activities'

Outside of work Babafemi enjoys working out and swimming.

Meet the faces behind Maximus Support Services!

This is Emma, she has worked for Maximus for a year and a half as a support worker.

When talking to Emma she said 'this is my first care job and it was the best choice I made, the people I work with are so supportive and understanding when things don’t go the way they’re planned- it makes work and life a little bit easier. I think it’s great that Maximus push us to expand our knowledge and step out of our comfort zones as they have recently supported me starting my NVQ level 2. I love seeing the people we support succeed whether it’s small or big; watching them live their lives the way they want to, makes me so proud of the work we do.

Outside of work Emma loves spending time with her family and friends, as well as getting creative with drawing.
