As a Professional Witch, I want to speak on what has happened to Renee Nicole Good.

Renee Nicole Good. He name has meaning, as all names do.

In Witchcraft, our words have power. As all words do.

In Moonstone Witchery, we are discussing how to best contribute our energy to the circumstances unfolding in this world. I have been mindful of speaking about the importance of not feeding evil by becoming filled with the hopelessness of hate ourselves.

But there is such a power in coming from the Retribution of Love. The Retribution. Of. Love.

There is power in doing work from the roots of what is Right.

What is Good.

See, this woman and the life she had that was so violently taken from her; she carries the energy of Good with her. It’s in her name. It’s in what she represents. It’s the counter-side of the Evil that left her child motherless last night and for all the days to come. We cannot just allow that to happen. That is wrong, it is terrible, it is bad.

Renee Nicole Good.

Do you know what her name means?

Renee means Renewed or Born Again.
Nicole means Power and Victory to the People.
Good.

Renewed Power and Victory to the people for what is Good.

This is a moment in magic where you get spiritual chills because the alignment is so poignant, so poetic, so tragic in its beauty.
If you are an Empath or Energy Worker or Intuitve or Witch, I want you to know you matter. And I want you to know you have power here.

Don’t succumb to this violence. Don't let it dim you. This is violence against us all and it is spiritual as well as tangible. It wishes to feast upon your hope and your light and your own goodness too.

Instead, take root in it.
Take Power from it.

Hold tightly to the fact that you know and live in the counter-energy of what the world currently is.

Grow what we NEED now. Feed that. Fuel it with your magic, your energy, your power.

Powerfully direct your workings to the Renewed Victory of the People for Good.

Raise that energy up high with the righteous rage that only we can have and hold. Direct it forward. Direct it with focus and clarity.

Say, “no more, we are done here with this chaos” but feed it from what is Right, rather than fighting against what is wrong.

The actions: the resistance, the retribution, the calling out of it all; those actions can be the same. We should do these things. This isn’t some “love and light only” rhetoric. I’m speaking to you deeper than that, I’m speaking to you on where your resistance originates.

I want it to originate from what is Good and Just and Correct.

And then throw your power all over it. Concentrate it and push it forth.

When the roots are strong, the plant grows tall.

This moment can actually be used to help and to do things that make a difference IF we use our energy correctly here as a collective.

The demographic of this victim will gain eyes of the world more than all the others who have fallen already. And while that is also an issue of our times, we can still Use That as leverage for our energy.

The fact that her name has such a powerful meaning is NOT a coincidence, it is a rally call. It is a message that success hides in these streets, in these protests, in your workings and your magic.

Direct your work from that place. We are in the right to fight this and there is a ton of power there.

As we step into the New Year, we are still moving through the final months of the Year of the Snake — a powerful cycle of shedding, release, and renewal — before the energy shifts into Fire Horse on February 17th.

It’s no surprise many are feeling the intensity of this transition, amplified by the energy of a 9 year, yet there is a softening available to us if we consciously choose peace. Over the past year, a profound shift in collective consciousness quietly unfolded, often unnoticed as we navigated our own inner challenges. What once felt spiritually taboo is now part of everyday conversation, and those who once seemed asleep are beginning to see, feel, and speak differently. Old systems, beliefs, and “Matrix” ways are losing their grip, replaced by new attitudes toward health, responsibility, growth, and truth. We are witnessing a true Spiritual Spring — the thawing of ancient permafrost as light reaches places long frozen. So perhaps the real question isn’t what 2026 will bring, but what we will bring to it.

How we choose to show up, to live with integrity, to protect our energy, and to consciously choose happiness in each moment.

This is the work now — and it begins within.

Energetic Update :
The Shedding...

I share this as the pieces of the Energetic puzzle landed this moring after 2 nights of very little sleep, flu symptoms, a wisdom tooth extraction and a menstral cycle that has appeared out of the blue. My household has been full of coughs and sneezes, phelm and the like since Christmas Eve, but we are all showing different symptoms. I had a feeling this was energetic and this morning all the pieces came together. So I share this, take what reasonates and leave the rest. I want to share a little perspective about what’s going on as we close out this year of The Snake, and a nine year and move into a one-year—the year of the Horse.

9s are all about endings and we move into a 1 year of brand new beginnings we are shedding the old and stepping into renewal and regenerating to better and better.

Right now, a lot of us are noticing that there’s this wave of colds, flus, and just a general perception of illness swirling around. But here’s the energetic twist: what if this “illness” is actually just our system upgrading itself?
We’re shedding the old to create a whole new version of ourselfs, as we step into a fresh cycle.
I realized that for so many of us, this “illness” looks a bit different for each person. It’s like we’re each shedding the lessons we’ve carried through this nine-year cycle so that we don’t have to lug them into the new year. For example, I shed a wisdom tooth recently. Now I’ve got a bit of a sore throat and some achiness, and in the language of Louise Hay’s belief system, these areas of the body have their own emotional meanings. We’re literally releasing what we don’t need anymore.

So as we move into this one-year, the year of the Horse, let’s honour that all of these symptoms might just be our body’s way of saying, “Hey, you’re ready to ride forward unburdened.” We’re releasing the old so we can embrace the new with a sense of lightness and freedom.
Shed that skin for you have outgrown it. Allow your 'illness' to move out of you, in whatever way it is showing up. Can you allow instead of trying to control it?
Trust that all is happening for you, supporting your growth and you will gallop like stallion into next year and embrace the abundance awaiting you there.
