This Volunteers' Week, we're celebrating the incredible difference volunteers make in our care homes every day.

From sharing a conversation and supporting activities to helping in our gardens or baking with residents, volunteers bring companionship, laughter and meaningful moments that enrich the lives of those we care for.

Could you spare some time to make a positive difference?

What a Fabulous long Weekend at HighField, a big thank you to all Our Staff & Volunteers for looking after all Our Residents in this heat wave & for giving them all a fabulous long weekend of fun outside in the garden , Everyone was entertained by Linda Belly Dancing on Bank Holiday Monday so a big thank you to her as it was very hot ! Our residents enjoyed ice creams , ice lollies , Gin & Tonics & lots of tasty snacks kindly bought by Our Homes Manager Hayley. Our residents even enjoyed their lunch & dinners out in the garden over the weekend with Pub Quizzes & different Board Games to choose from along with Magazines

As Dementia Action Week comes to a close, we want to thank everyone who has engaged with our posts, shared experiences, and helped raise awareness💙

This week has been an opportunity to highlight the importance of understanding, compassion, and person-centred support for those living with dementia.

Across Hartford Care, we remain committed to creating safe, supportive environments where residents are treated with dignity, encouraged to maintain their independence, and supported to continue enjoying the moments that matter most to them.

Although Dementia Action Week may be ending, raising awareness and supporting those affected by dementia is something that continues every day.🧠
