Glaucoma can sneak up without warning. Some possible signs include:
• Gradual loss of peripheral (side) vision
• Blurred or hazy vision
• Seeing halos around lights
• Eye pain or headaches (less common)

If you notice any changes in your vision, it’s important to see an optometrist or ophthalmologist promptly.

Remember: regular eye tests are the best way to catch glaucoma early and protect your sight.

Our wonderful Bluebird Care Rother & Hastings team, Jess and Nicola, recently popped into Magdala House ECR Activity Care Day Centre to meet with Alison and learn more about the fantastic day care service they provide.

It was a great opportunity to chat about how we can continue supporting people across Rye, and to explore ways we might collaborate on future community events — especially those that celebrate uplift and knowledge for unpaid carers 💙

We’re passionate about building strong local partnerships and creating a real 🪺nest of support for the people and families we serve.
