As an Integrated Wellness Practitioner, I have practiced and maintained over two decades worth of experience as a qualified Reiki Master and Holistic Therapist. Reiki for adults and Reiki for children works well alongside allopathic medicine and other professional services that help with issues such as stress, low self-esteem, sleep issues and anxiety. As a therapeutic foster carer of 13 years, I have dealt with many childhood and adolescent issues including developmental and relational trauma and attachment issues, anxiety, self esteem, identity, self harm and other mental health and neuro diverse conditions. I feel that now is the right time to promote my practice whilst utilising some other current skills into my therapeutic toolbox, like mindfulness and creativity. I work within the boundaries of an ethical framework and offer my services with unconditional positive regard and empathy in a safe and confidential manner. I am trained in Humanistic Therapies (Person Centred & Gestalt) and Mental Health First Aid and Psychological First Aid. In the not too distant future, I will be offering professional Counselling for Children and Young People alongside Treating Trauma with Creativity! My Mindfulness Workshops for Adolescents will run throughout the summer preferably outside in nature (venue to be confirmed) and inside during the winter months and in schools. These workshops will:
• provide an invaluable experience for young people to learn about exploring
the mind/body connection
• assist in developing resilience
• explore awareness of kindness and gratitude
