My name is Louise and I trained as a yoga teacher with Barefoot body at CAMYOGA in Cambridge. This course is accredited with Yoga Alliance. I am excited to share yoga and other movement classes with people in Saffron Walden and the surrounding areas. I am a mother with 2 children living in Saffron Walden.

When I wake up in the morning, all the things I’ve ’got to do’ can feel overwhelming. I feel heavy, weighed down by my thinking and uneasy.

I discovered shaking when I got injured in my Achilles - yoga, running, walking, gym all need working feet and mine aren’t.

So I put on loud, euphoric music and started shaking in the mornings, which then turned into shaking and dancing, Qigong and tapping. This helps to shake me out of myself, release some resistance and help me to feel lighter and less heavy.

There’s nothing you need to learn or know, it’s not complicated. It’s just moving and feeling and that’s it, no special way and definitely no way to get it wrong.

This is my offering to you on June 7th.
Time to feel unstuck, time to feel free.

It’s here! 🎉 Shake it Out — a brand new monthly morning class I’ve been dreaming of for a while!

We’re going to shake, dance and tap our bodies together - releasing the week to feel light and free.

No experience needed. No right way. Just permission to move and have fun 🙌

Then we’ll land. Breathwork, and a lovely guided Yoga Nidra to leave you feeling properly reset.

🌿Are you new to Yin yoga? 🌿Not sure where to start?

Yin is a slower style of yoga where poses are held for longer (2–5 minutes), working into the deeper connective tissues fascia, ligaments and tendons rather than just muscles.
It’s less about stretching hard and more about softening, breathing and allowing the body to gradually release.
Yin helps improve flexibility, joint health and overall resilience, while deeply calming your nervous system.
