6 week GP check ✔️ done!!

But at your Mummy MOT (post natal check) we like to dive deeper

🔶 How is your posture?

🔶 Are you having any pelvic floor symptoms? Any pain, incontinence, trouble with stitches? How's the strength? Is it ready for impact or need some time and exercise?

🔶 How is your general strength and mobility? Are there areas that need some focus before you start back running for example?

🔶 Have you any tummy gap that needs rehab?

🔶 If you had a C-section, how is the scar?

And lots lots more.

I want to make sure you have the best and smoothest post natal recovery! And that you get back to what you love doing and feel strong doing it!

You book online or drop me a message x

Ps..can we take a moment for how sunny lock down was, and my tiny baby 🥰

So you have braved it...booked your pelvic health physio appointment!!!

Please don't apologize for....

🔸Not recently having had a wax.

🔸That it's 'a mess' down there.

🔸For leaving your socks on!

🔸For not shaving your legs.

I am honestly just delighted you've come and that we can start your pelvic health journey ❤️

Endometriosis - much much more then just 'bad periods'.

We know that it affects at least 1 in 10 women in the uk with an average wait of about 9 years for a diagnosis 🤯 (but that's a rant for another day ....maybe😉)

Women's health physios are a great part of your toolbox to manage symptoms.

🔸Pelvic pain
🔸Bladder and bowel dysfunction
🔸Painful s*x
🔸Fatique
🔸Muscle tension
🔸Chronic pain

Did you know physio could help?? 🤔

💩 got your attention?

Any idea what is "normal".

How often we should be going?

It does vary from person to person.

But our poo should be soft and formed, we shouldn't have to strain and it shouldn't hurt.

Pelvic floor basics!

How are those long holds going ladies?? Are we managing 10 seconds properly...or does it slowly disappear off..

And what about the relax between? We want a lovely range of movement in our pelvic floor so the relaxation in between is equally as important.

Some TLC is needed.

Our gut loves a bit of variety, unfortunately the variety that is quality street, mince pies and wine is not the one 😉😂

Trying to get in a great mixture of fruit and veg and pulses will lead to a much happier healthier gut and a happier bowel.

Happy bowel is a winner for a happier pelvic floor 🎊

Now...will my kids eat it...🤔
