Yesterday, our beautiful home was filled with stalls, games and entertainers for our ‘Dementia Friends’ event!

It was lovely for the community to get together and share resources and information, while having a huge amount of fun!

We had a fabulous visit from Tina’s Pop - Up Shop this week!
Tina brought several rails of colourful clothes for everyone to browse and buy and everything was under £20!

The visit sparked some lovely conversations, reminiscing about our favourite local shops and sharing stories and memories about fashion. 👗

We have had the best week celebrating Employee Appreciation Week!

Today our staff and residents had a summer party, jam - packed with activities including sack, space hopper and egg and spoon races, a tug of war, hook - a - duck, swing ball, ring toss and so much more.

Everybody also enjoyed ice creams and cold drinks as well as other snacks and refreshments.
Lots of fun was had by all! 😊

Not only have we got an action - packed week of activities available for our residents including our Music Therapy session, Pop Up Shop and an Animal Visit…

We also have a range of activities for Staff Appreciation Week for all colleagues to join!

We had a VERY special 4 - legged furry friend in to see us all yesterday! 🐶

Pets As Therapy volunteer Melissa and her Pyrenees mountain dog Leo came along to say hello to everyone at Bailey Lodge!

Leo greeted everybody with a big tail wag and Melissa answered questions about the responsibilities and quirks of being a dog mum to such a big, beautiful dog!
Thank you for coming Melissa & Leo, we look forward to regular visits from you both!

We love a bit of friendly competition on a Saturday morning!
Normally we have our skittles group today, but when we woke up and saw the sunshine again this morning, we knew we had to get outside into our gorgeous gardens for Boules! ☀️

Fresh air, beautiful surroundings, sunshine, gentle exercise and friendly competition made us all feel like winners this morning! 🥇
