Nutrition and Hydration Week! 💧

Today, Bailey Lodge residents, visitors & staff all received fruit pots and smoothies to stay healthy and hydrated! We have all been making an extra special effort this week to nourish & flourish!

This is Joan!

Joan used to make all sorts of clothes, using many different types of needlework, including embroidery. Joan has even made whole suits in the past!

Joan says she hasn’t picked up her knitting needles in 30 + years, until she came along to our Knit and Natter group last week!
Since then, Joan has been making a lovely cushion as a gift. 🧶

“I never would have thought about picking up knitting again, if it wasn’t for Chloe, the Lifestyle Lead.”

Every week we have a person - centred weekly programme, created by our Lifestyle Team and tailored to the residents interests, hobbies and life stories!

We have certainly been making the most of the glorious weather today! ☀️

Whether it was planting a herb garden, having a sunny garden stroll or relaxing and sunbathing, everyone had lots of fun in the sun today! 💜

We’re pleased to share that we will be hosting a free dementia-support session for the community, aimed at helping people understand dementia and how to care for loved ones with compassion and confidence.

At Bailey Lodge we believe that early understanding and open conversation can make a real difference.
