Pain during pregnancy is common, but not normal.

Its not a good time to push yourself, but continuing your exercise routines during pregnancy can benefit your physical and mental health as well as keeping you fit for the demands of birth and parenting. However if pain is limiting your activities, help is available.

Your body goes through significant postural as well as hormonal changes as you grow your baby. These can make you prone to pain or discomfort, but as your joints and muscles become are softer and more relaxed, they respond especially well to treatment too.

Osteopathy uses safe and gentle techniques to reduce pain and tension and is suitable for all stages of life including pregnancy.
