It’s the season of flip flops, sandals, and foot pain!
In the summer months people slip on pretty, easy to wear slip on shoes that offer zero support, are incredibly flat and often have to be held on by crunching your toes up. This inevitably leads to strain on the fascia of the underside your foot, potentially repetitive strain in the tendons, and frequently? The beginnings of plantar fasciitis.
So when you come in with foot pain and I ask how far you walked in flip-flops, I haven’t gone all psychic on you, we’re just trying to break the cycle! Flip flops are great but let’s leave them for short potters about and the beach, or sitting in the sunshine with an ice lolly 🙂
