She looked like she was thriving.
Always showing up online. Always keeping things moving. The business looked successful, the family looked happy, the diary looked full, and from the outside it genuinely seemed like she had everything under control.
But the truth was that she was exhausted.
She was constantly thinking about what needed doing next, constantly carrying the emotional weight of everyone and everything around her, and despite how much she achieved, she still somehow never quite felt good enough.
She couldn’t switch off properly. She struggled to rest without guilt. Even the moments that were meant to feel relaxing often still felt mentally loud.
And the thing she kept saying over and over again was, “I just don’t have the time.”
Time for herself.
Time to slow down.
Time to breathe.
Time to even think clearly some days.
But eventually she realised that continuing exactly as she was also came with a cost.
So she committed to my Learn to Meditate course.
Just 45 minutes once a week, for 8 weeks.
Just five minutes a day to begin building a practice that actually fit into real life.
Not to become a completely different person.
Not to suddenly float through life feeling zen all the time.
Just to feel more steady within herself again.
She started understanding what her nervous system had been doing for years. Why she always felt “on edge.” Why her mind struggled to rest. Why she felt emotionally overwhelmed by things that never used to affect her in the same way.
And over that 8 weeks, things began to change.
She slept through the night properly for the first time in years.
She started meeting situations with more calm and less panic.
She found herself laughing more.
Feeling clearer.
Feeling lighter.
Actually enjoying moments instead of rushing through them mentally thinking about the next thing.
Life didn’t suddenly become perfect.
But she finally felt like she was living it instead of just surviving it.
Learn to Meditate begins on 2nd June.
