***Covid & Flu Vaccinations***
From today, you will be able to book for the autumn covid booster and flu vaccination.

You can get the winter COVID-19 vaccine if you:
-are aged 75 or over (including those who will be 75 by 31 January 2026)
-are aged 6 months to 74 years and have a weakened immune system because of a health condition or treatment
-live in a care home for older adults

You can get the free NHS flu vaccine if you:
-are aged 65 or over (including those who will be 65 by 31 March 2026)
-have certain long-term health conditions
-are pregnant
-live in a care home
-are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive a carer's allowance
-live with someone who has a weakened immune system

People aged 75 years and older, residents in care homes for older people, and those aged 6 months and over with a weakened immune system will be offered a dose of COVID-19 vaccine this spring.

As of today and for the next week we will be taking part in the National ‘ Save our Pharmacies’ Campaign. Our lights will be off between 9-11am today- with your support we can stop it from being a permanent lights out!!

This is to help demonstrate the massive underfunding (1.3bn) we have in the pharmacy sector. As result in England 1400 community pharmacies have closed in the last decade and now around 10 are closing per week!! These are shocking figures and we cannot afford to lose many more.

Pharmacies are the heart of the community and support people in so many ways.
