Visiting care can start from as little as 30 minutes per week up to several visits throughout the day, giving you the reassurance you need at home. We also offer live in care in St Albans for more complex needs such as dementia or neurological conditions. Whether you're an older adult or young person wanting to keep in touch with the local community, we can find the right level of care for you. We are also fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), who ensure we provide a safe and effective service.

At Helping Hands, we love celebrating the incredible people who make a real difference every day. Today, we’re proud to share Adyanna’s story - one of passion, purpose, and a genuine commitment to person-centered care.

“Growing up, care was always part of my world. My Nana was a carer for the council, and my mum has worked in care for over a decade. Watching their dedication left a lasting impression on me. I started working in care just before turning 17, alongside my mum while still in college, and I haven’t looked back since.”

Adyanna joined Helping Hands in March 2024 at just 19 years old and has been making an incredible impact ever since.

“What I enjoy most is getting to know each client’s routine and personal preferences. There’s something incredibly meaningful about being able to brighten someone’s day - even more so knowing that we might be the only friendly face they see. That motivates me to always deliver the highest standard of person-centered care. Helping Hands is a fantastic company for people who genuinely care about making a difference and creating positive moments in others’ lives.”
