Last year we were the headline sponsor for team Spinal Injuries Association at the Superhero Series Triathlon!

This month we are focussing on spinal injury care as part of our ongoing partnership with Spinal Injuries Association.

During the month, we will be sharing stories and insights from our team, highlighting the role care providers can play in helping people with spinal cord injuries (SCI) live exciting and fulfilling lives.

We are delighted to announce that we have reached the finals of the HCPA Care Awards 2026!

We have been included in the 'Most Innovative Homecare Team' category. This is a reflection of developments such as the ELK cushion pilot scheme, the second year of our Tackling Loneliness Campaign, and our Care Worker chat bot, introduced to reduce phone waiting times and increase time efficiency.

We are looking forward to the ceremony on the 26th June! 🌟

Yesterday we said farewell to Kim, who has been part of the Abbots Care team for 15 years.

From Community Facilitator, to Care Monitoring Officer and a multitude of different roles inbetween, Kim seriously did it all!

We are immensely grateful for her contribution to Abbots Care, having supported the company for half of its 30-year lifetime! We wish her all the best in the future.

Birdie Care CEO Max Parmentier asked us if he could experience a care shift to really understand what being a Care Worker is like... so we said yes!

Max joined our Care Worker Mohammed as he completed his daily care calls, seeing the different kinds of support we offer to our clients.

It was fantastic having Max with us for the day, we hope the experience was insightful!
