An excellent experience and 3mins dry cold at -87 degrees felt very different to my usual cold water dips.

Do you have a post run routine ❓

⚡Mine for years has always included some variations of pigeon and 90/90 stretch along with an modified hurdle stretch.

⚡The best way to remember to stretch is to make it a habit. I grab my mat and stretch right after running whilst my coffee brews and I take a quick look at my socials. Works for me!

🏆 Congratulations to on completing her first ever Ironman last weekend.

Not only did she 'complete' she absolutely smashed it with an impressive sub 12hr time and took 6th place in her AG.

I can't wait to see what Audrey does next! She's definitely got the ability to qualify for IM World Champs. If she is capable of this performance for her first race with a lot of juggling life and challenges along the way meaning she didn't have the 'perfect' build, who knows what she can achieve in future.

Audrey has been a pleasure to coach through her first Ironman distance event and I'm excited to see what is to come!

Yes it might look a bit dodgy......but training a squat movement when you have back issues can be difficult to go heavy without further impacting the integrity of your spine.

Doing these belted squats allows me to continue to work on my squat strength whilst being kinder to an L5/S1 spinal injury I have.

If you are careful and prepared to be creative there are always more ways than one to work the same muscle groups.

When is the best time for massage?

⚡ Pre event - anything from 1 week to 1 day prior. We will change the massage focus depending how far out from an event you are

⚡ Maintenance - most of my regular clients see me from once a week to once a month. Regular massage helps you ward off all those niggles and injuries

⚡ Post event - immediately after, or the following week. It all helps you get back to training faster and can reduce the doms and ppst event fatigue you will feel after a big race or comp
