Tickets are on now sale for a fabulous evening with Abbey Theatre - St Albans!

On the 23rd April, they will transport you to George Orwellโ€™s imagined future, with the tale centred around Winston Smith, a diligent mid-level worker at the Ministry of Truth who secretly hates the Party and dreams of rebellion. As Great Britain, now known as Air Strip One is governed by Oceania, which is led by Big Brother - a dictatorial leader supported by an intense cult of personality manufactured by the Party's Thought Police.

Youth Talk and Citizens Advice St Albans are delighted to be collaborating on the ticket sales for this event, and using all funds raised to support those in need across our local community.

Huge thanks to Mix 92.6 for welcoming our CEO David Barker into the studio last Saturday! It was a great opportunity to talk about our 2026 Growing Up Survey, reflect on how we've grown and developed over the past few years and most importantly discuss how mental health issues are impacting local young people.

The anonymous survey we have just launched is for anyone aged 13-25 and there's still one week to go if you'd like to take part! We want to build our understanding of what young people are experiencing right now, so if you are in that age group or can share with others who are, please use the link below.

You can listen to the whole show at https://player.autopod.xyz/1155887 and can hear the chat with David from around the 1:08 mark. As an added bonus there is also a track from our lovely (and talented!) ambassador, George

Thank you Mix 92.6 ๐Ÿ’™
