Bookings are OPEN for our October Business Breakfast!

Join us for a wonderful morning at St Michael's Manor while we chat to Louisa Clark, Chief Commercial Officer at Queensberry Promotions.

Louisa Clark has built a career in the sports broadcasting field and through her years of work in the field she really has seen and heard it all! Now working within the boxing promoter business and as one of very few senior females in the world of combat sports – working with the Saudi’s, big name boxers of past and present – no day is ever dull and her world is full of life’s characters.

Louisa is joining us to share stories and insights – the highs and the lows – and to answer those burning boxing questions you’ve always wanted to ask.

🎶 Huge thanks to Chris Clifford and everyone who made last Saturday’s Day Rave at The Pioneer Club St Albans such a fantastic afternoon.

Bringing people together through music towards the end of Mental Health Awareness Week, while raising funds for Youth Talk and the Pioneer Club, made the event even more special.

Music has such a powerful way of lifting mood, creating connection and supporting positive mental health, and Saturday was a brilliant reminder of that.

Thank you Chris and team!

Not long to go until the fabulous Men of Fields are walking 100km along the Northumberland Coastal Path! They’ve been out training over the past few days - and would love your support.

Our own Jim Lewis joined Gordon and Jim from Helping Herts today, for today’s part of the Founders Walk across Hertfordshire, along with Herts Young Homeless and Hertfordshire Mind Network.

Whilst the walk is raising awareness and funds for Helping Herts and the charities they support, it also proved to be a great opportunity for the group to enjoy the outside, switch off from busy lives, and just walk and talk in our beautiful local countryside.

We hope today saw the last of the rain for them - you might see Gordon and Jim as they continue across Herts with other charities over the next few days! Good luck to them all - we hope they enjoy it!

As Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 has drawn to a close, we simply want to say one thing - A HUGE THANK YOU.

Thank you to everybody who supported our “It’s All About You” campaign this week.

To those who shared our posts.
Stopped to talk to us.
Attended events.
Volunteered their time.
Supported behind the scenes.
Shared their stories.
Encouraged others to seek support.
Partnered with us.
Or made a donation to help local young people.

Thank you.

This week has been our biggest and most impactful Mental Health Awareness Week yet. Together, we’ve helped shine a light on the growing pressures facing young people today and the importance of ensuring they have somewhere safe to turn.

But perhaps the most important reminder this week is this:

Youth Talk can only continue to provide free mental health support because of the support of our local community.

Right now, demand for counselling is higher than ever. Every donation made to Youth Talk directly helps local young people access professional, confidential mental health support when they need it most.

So as the week comes to an end, we have one final ask.

If you believe every young person deserves someone to talk to, please consider making a donation today. After all it really is - ALL ABOUT YOU.

To Donate ÂŁ 5 Text: YOUTH5 to 70970
To Donate ÂŁ10 Text: YOUTH10 to 70191
To Donate ÂŁ20 Text: YOUTH20 to 70191
Donate via: Website: https://lnkd.in/e2wuSQN5

Every pound raised will directly benefit local young people who are struggling. with their mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Because together, we can make sure no young person struggles alone.

Thank you for standing with us this week.
