✨ Celebrate Light in the Darkest Season | Fire, Wood and Alchemy Mid-Winter Retreat✨
When the world demands endless productivity, nature invites an older wisdom.
This winter, join me and Ruth Sneath, Secret Garden Forest School, for a mid-winter retreat in the peaceful woodlands of Ickwell Conservation Reserve*, Bedfordshire for a day to honour rest, renewal, and the quiet transformation happening beneath the frozen ground.
Together we'll:
🖋️ Walk the winter landscape and create woodland drawings
🔥 Learn fire-making and gather around flames we've created with folk stories
🌱 Reflect on what we're ready to release and what seeds we want to tend
❄️ Connect deeply with the land and each other
You'll leave with new skills, a renewed sense of rest as radical and necessary, and gentle permission to dream about the year ahead without resolution pressure.
This is your invitation to step off the treadmill, warm your hands by the fire, and remember that transformation happens in the dark...and that light will return.
