One of the reasons for my photo update! Really excited to start teaching a Thursday morning yoga class at Colours Cafe & Wellbeing Centre in Truro... a mid morning Hatha/Flow and of course time for relaxation. By midday we will feel like the weekend has already started!

I really hope the New Year has started as well as it can for you under the circumstances. Thank you for all the comments on the tapping videos - I’ve written a FAQ blog post on my website http://www.be-health.co.uk/blog/health-on-tap with more information about the sequence and points, but feel free to get in touch with any other questions. Keep tapping!

The deep green prickly holly leaves and their joyful berries are reminding me of a Dr Bach flower essence - he described his holly formula for ‘different forms of vexation’. It’s a remedy that encourages generosity of spirit and openness toward others - reminiscent of the story of Scrooge and the spirit of Christmas. Whatever challenges we face there always seems to be a flower remedy ready and willing to help us on the way!

Lovely to see the gorse in flower, bringing a pop of bright yellow to a wintery landscape. No wonder Dr Bach chose this cheery flower to create his remedy for feelings of despondency. The gentle, subtle flower essences are great natural remedies to turn to if you feel in need of an emotional lift!

Don’t forget your scarf!
If you are venturing out this weekend be sure to take your scarf..
Why?
Because in Traditional Chinese Medicine the elements play an important role in health. The wind is one of the most influential external elements and the back of the neck is a particularly susceptible area.
So it’s not just an old wives’ tale to wrap up warm and wear your scarf on a windy, chilly day!
Wishing you a good weekend.

Here is the third video..If you’re not familiar with this technique it can seem strange, but all the tapping points have a significance in Traditional Chinese Medicine as points on the body’s meridian lines. I really hope you feel the benefit of your tapping!

Here are the first two videos introducing the technique I mentioned yesterday and explaining how to start the process by describing a symptom.
Watch out for the next two so you can start working on it!

I took this photo because it reminds me that above the clouds the sun is always shining. I know many people have felt like they have been living under a number of clouds this year so I’ve been working on some videos to share a really great self-help technique with you. I’ve used it often this year with clients and on myself. It’s:
Simple to learn
Suitable for anyone
Can be done anytime and anywhere
Of course it doesn’t replace other medical advice but it’s a great tool for anxiety, pain or any symptom physical or emotional.
I’ll upload the first 2 videos tomorrow...!

I am a genuine lover of holistic therapies but wasn’t sure about ‘wild swimming’ when my lovely sister suggested it...Moving to Cornwall and living by the sea it seemed too good an opportunity to miss though and we started swimming in the late summer. I didn’t for a minute think we’d still be keen at the end of November! Yes this is me this morning - brilliant start to the day and I can vouch for the benefits of cold water swimming...
