We have 2 sites in Wales; Penlan & Littlemoor. With therapy, well-being, & activities for all ages.

An outdoor therapy centre in St Clears, just 15 minutes from Carmarthen. Gul Wales is a branch of God Unlimited, an outdoor therapy and riding centre in Shrewton.

There’s something truly magical about watching a murmuration of starlings 🌿✨
Often at dusk these little birds move as one — twisting, turning and flowing through the sky like living smoke before settling into the trees for the night 🌙
This behaviour is thought to help protect them from predators and keep them warm and it is amazing to watch

Last year some of our groups helped to label oak and hazel saplings with pieces of string which will help to extend the woodland and create another hazel coppice.

Now is the time we can dig those saplings up and create our very own tree nursery until we're ready to plant them in the newest area of soon to be woodland!

Our groups learn about woodland management, how to maintain a woodland in a sustainable and wildlife friendly way as well as giving us the resources we use in our sessions.

We encourage exploration and play in our Woodland Sessions! No matter how big or small you are, a good game of hide and seek is always fun! 👀

Our woodland is fully enclosed so our groups have a lot of freedom to play and explore away from the shelter.

This lot are taking it seriously and went on a scouting mission to find some good spots before the brambles grow back

Simple, delicious and the perfect way to warm up on a chilly morning! Jacket potatoes 😋

So straight forward...once the fire is good and hot 🔥 just wrapped in tin foil and pop them in the embers. Just what we needed after a cold morning in the woods exploring and looking for signs of spring 🌱🥶

⭐️🌜🌳 🔥There is something so magical being in the woods after dark with the light of the fire 🔥 🌳🌜⭐️
This is a special term when the evenings are still dark for our after school Bushcraft Club. The fire is the main event and it's wonderful to see the kids skills and their confidence around the fire growing. What a great skill these kids will have being able to light and maintain a fire safely with no matches as they grow up 😀🔥

The Great Potato Bake off Round 2 saw us trying campfire hashbrowns at the suggestion of one of our group members. Honestly they were soooo good 😋 and not something we'd done before so that was great!

Our sessions are very child led in this way, kids have a suggestion or idea and we'll do our best to help it happen.

A great thing about our sessions is we will always be evolving and adapting to our groups! I don't think we'll ever get bored in the woods!! 🌳

🌳💚 We love and good challenge in the woods, this terms theme is outdoor cooking. 🥔 So here starts the Great Potato Bake off! How many different ways can we cook potatoes over the camp fire?! 🔥

We've tried two methods this week, one sliced, rolled in oil and seasoning and cooked on a stick 😋 think camp fire chips. Not everyone liked it but we all had a go and tried it..even our woodland mascot Shadow came to investigate 🐈‍⬛ this is definitely his favourite term...🔥 and 🍽 😋

🌳💚 Tibetan bread was something new for a lot of us and it definitely went down well 😋 it is kind of across between a donut and a levened flat bread 🤷‍♀️ delicious anyway!!

The recipe is at the end of the reel if you want to have a go yourself...I really recommend you do!

Traditionally used as a trekking breakfast due to its simple ingredients (though we didnt use the traditional yaks milk 😅 - coconut for us to ensure all the groups dietary requirements were catered for)

Even in our outdoor cooking term we make sure there is something suitable for everyone to be able to try.

Snow didn’t stop play for long! ❄️ After a little delay, we are finally back in the woods and it feels so good.

What a start to our Outdoor Cooking term! There’s nothing quite like the smell of a campfire and the pride on their faces when they tuck into something they’ve made themselves. 😋🔥
