We would like to say a tremendous thank you to our good friends Nick and Caitlin for a wonderful day at the community garden. For sharing all their knowledge and teaching us the valuable & beautiful ancient art of growing mushrooms. We are overjoyed with how much we learnt from the presentation and had a great time afterwards getting stuck in learning the practical aspects.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the day and helped to prep a nourishing campfire foraged Soup of different types of mushrooms, wild garlic and nettles accompanied by some delicious spelt sourdough from Emlyn .cymru.
Afterwards we enjoyed a warm cup of Cacao & medicinal mushroom blend of 7 different varieties.
We are very excited that we now have 2 Shiitake logs and 2 Oysters logs settling in at the garden and we can't wait to watch these babies grow, counting down the days for harvest time!
We love sharing days like this with our community, sharing knowledge & resources, building resilience, connecting people & nurturing wellbeing is what we are all about and we all agreed around the campfire today that we are truly blessed to call West Wales our home where we can nurture spaces like this and enjoy nature at its best. ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ๐โ๐ซ
