The children of Thatto Heath Playdays Nursery visited the home earlier this week and our residents absolutely loved it! The children brought gifts for everyone and entertained our residents singing songs and spending time with them. There was also a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny to hand out Easter treats to the children who have become regular and welcome visitors to our home. The residents really do appreciate these visits which bring a lot of emotion, laughter and happiness into the home and mean so much to the residents; thank you to all the children and staff from Thatto Heath Playdays and have a lovely Easter!❤️🐰

Fabulous! What a finale to 2023! Robin, great grandson of Rose one of our residents, paid a visit to his great-gran and treated all of our residents to a very topical musical end to the year. Thank you Robin. Happy New Year to you all from all the staff at Brown Edge House!

Well, what a fantastic Christmas celebration our residents have enjoyed at Brown Edge House this year! It all started with a Christmas party (almost two weeks ago now) with a visit from Santa and Rudolph, a fantastic barbershop choir concert (which the residents absolutely loved!), a visit from the lovely young children from Thatto Heath Playdays Nursery and two local schools: St Austin’s and Thatto Heath Primary; Mike Massey singing Christmas songs and carols for almost TWO HOURS whilst waiting for a very late visit from Santa on his sledge (courtesy of the local Rotary organisation) and lots of visits and gifts from you, our families, helping to make Christmas so special for all of our residents (and staff!)
To all families and friends of our residents: thank you for all your cards and kind gifts but most importantly for all your help and support in looking after our residents throughout the year!!!!
From all the Staff, Barbara, Karen & Cliff (and baby Alice!) we wish you a very Happy Christmas and all the very best for 2024!🎅🏻🎄❤️
