🩺 Investing in Learning, Improving Patient Care

Two members of our team, Jo and Emma, recently attended the Resuscitation Conference hosted by Circle Health Group at ZOLL HQ in Runcorn — and it proved to be an incredibly valuable experience.

The day was packed with practical learning, hands-on sessions using the defibrillators we have at Fairfield, and opportunities to refresh essential patient assessment skills. Speaking directly with the experts behind the technology helped deepen their understanding and confidence in using it effectively.

Jo and Emma also connected with resuscitation leads from other hospitals, building a network of support and shared best practice — all of which contributes to safer, more responsive care for our patients.

Training opportunities like this, provided by CHG, are vital in ensuring our staff stay up to date with the latest clinical knowledge and equipment. Ultimately, this means better outcomes, safer procedures, and more confident care for every patient who walks through our doors.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Macmillan Coffee Morning earlier this week!

Every single cake was lovingly homemade by our amazing Catering Team, and thanks to everyone's generosity, we raised over £300 to support Macmillan Cancer Support.

A Joint Effort: Fairfield’s First Private Patient Information Evening

Last week, we were delighted to host our first-ever private patient information event at the stunning Houghwood Golf — and what a fantastic evening it was!

Our expert consultant orthopaedic surgeons, Mr Nicholas Emms and Mr Matthew Kent, delivered insightful talks on hip & knee and shoulder & elbow conditions, helping patients better understand their options for diagnosis and treatment.

With a high turnout, the evening was a true success — set against the exquisite surroundings of Houghwood and supported by their exceptional hospitality, including delicious refreshments.

Attendees had the opportunity to speak directly with the consultants and Fairfield team, including our Private Physiotherapist team, as well as booking appointments, treatment options and pricing.
