🎶✨ We were delighted to welcome a wonderful group of students from Outwood Academy who came to entertain our residents here at Colliers Croft 💛

As part of their Out There programme, these amazing young people are making a real difference in their community, and they certainly brought joy, music, and lots of smiles to our home! 🌟

What a week we had at Colliers Croft! 🌟

We had a great time with Rise, getting stuck into some fun seated sports that brought out plenty of laughs 🏓🎯

Then the Home Safari came to visit. Our residents loved meeting rabbits, tortoises, birds and even a few lizards 🐇🐢🦎🦜

It’s always lovely to see so many smiles around the home 💛

It’s been a fun and busy time here at Colliers Croft! 🌟
From a fantastic visit from Rise to flower arranging, tabletop games, and getting active with our colourful parachute. Our residents have been making the most of every moment. 💐🎲🎉

A Special Honour for Our Resident, Colin.

We were proud to host a very special surprise as Rotary St Helens visited Colliers Croft to present our resident, Colin, with Honorary Membership – the club’s highest distinction – in recognition of over 60 years of service and leadership.

It was a truly heartwarming day filled with smiles, stories, and celebration.

On Tuesday, Colin was over the moon when he was presented with an Honorary Membership from the Rotary Club in recognition of his incredible contributions. 💛

He celebrated in style with friends, tea, sandwiches, and plenty of cake – the perfect afternoon! 🍰☕

World Chocolate Day at Colliers Croft! 🍓🍫

Our residents had a sweet start to the week, celebrating World Chocolate Day in style! From tasting delicious chocolates to making their own fruit kebab sticks, there were smiles all around. 😀

A big thank you to our amazing team for bringing joy, creativity, and plenty of cocoa to Monday’s activities!

What a week we’ve had celebrating and Care Home Open Week 💙

From a Zoom workout and seated sports on Motivation Monday, to ice lollies and outdoor quizzes on Tuneful Tuesday, it’s been nonstop joy and connection! 🎶❄️

We caught up with friends at Saints Reminisce Café on Wednesday, soaked up the sun and played prize bingo on Thursday, and wrapped it all up with a feel-good Friday full of dancing, singing, and community cheer. 🕺🎤☀️

A big thank you to Lilly and Debra from Carmel College who joined us for the week – our residents loved having you around, and we wish you both the best in your studies! 🌟

A week full of joy, memories & meaningful moments at Colliers Croft! 💫

Tuesday: We welcomed lovely Kath from English Martyrs Church for prayer and communion with residents 🙏 — always a peaceful and cherished part of the week.

Wednesday: D Day remembrance brought powerful stories and reflection, sparked by vintage photos, memorabilia, and fascinating facts 🇬🇧. We wrapped up with a cheerful singalong 🎶 — smiles all around!

Friday: With Father's Day around the corner, we treated our gents to a proper celebration 🍻. A pie & a pint, seated football ⚽, and our classic Dad Reminisce quiz 🚗 had everyone chatting, laughing, and sharing memories.

It’s weeks like this that bring Colliers Croft to life 💛
