🚍 Travelling with Your Mobility Scooter in the North West? 🚆
If you’re planning to use your mobility scooter on local buses or trains, you’ll need a permit for travel.
Most North West operators including Stagecoach, Arriva, Go North West, D&G Bus, and Northern Trains require you to register your scooter to make sure it meets their size and safety limits (usually around 120 cm long × 70 cm wide and under 300 kg including the user).
Recommended model: The Jiffy Manual Fold Plus Folding Scooter easily meets most public transport size requirements and folds neatly for convenience.
