I have always run my business with the view of making it as easy for all parents as you all have enough to deal with however, in recent weeks, I have had a lot of last minute cancellations. All I have ever asked is that people provide me with plenty of notice if they need to cancel.
As I'm sure you can appreciate, this has a knock on affect to me but more importantly, to those on waiting lists who are unable to take the last minute cancelled appointments.
Due to this, I am now asking those who book appointments for assessments to pay a 10% non refundable deposit. This will be taken off the total price of assessment when assessment is completed. Deposits will be paid for at the point of booking and this confirms your booking.
If you cancel and rebook - this is not a problem and the deposit will roll over to the new booking.
If you cancel and do not rebook - you will lose the deposit.
