Bereaved families and friends of loved ones lost to su***de are encouraged to come together to attend an annual memorial event later this month.

Organised by the council in partnership with Saints Community Development Foundation, St Helens Wellbeing, Papyrus, Survivors of Bereavement by Su***de - SOBS, Child Bereavement UK, Complete Music Solutions and Amparo: Support following su***de, the event offers a compassionate and supportive space for anyone affected by su***de to come together, remember loved ones, and to find connection and comfort.

This year’s su***de memorial event - held in the same month as national Su***de Awareness Day (10 September -) will take place in St Helens Town Hall on the evening of Tuesday 30 September.

The event is free to attend, but booking is advised.

These days, more and more fellows are looking for a place where they can shake off the day’s worries and speak man to man. 🤝

A men’s group offers just that, a good, honest gathering where a chap can share his thoughts, lend an ear, and feel a sense of camaraderie that’s getting harder to come by. 💪

It’s not about putting on airs or solving every problem, but about showing up, rolling up your sleeves, and being part of something steady and true. For any man looking to stand a little taller and walk a little straighter, a group like this might be just the ticket. 👏

Welcome to our new look page! Your new St Helens Wellbeing service makes it easier to access a wide range of healthy living and wellbeing support through a ’one stop shop’. We’ve joined up services that provide advice and help with healthy eating, exercise, weight management, stopping smoking, breastfeeding, emotional and social wellbeing, oral health and volunteering.

We’ll work with you to help decide which services could make a difference to your health and wellbeing. By just making some small changes you can make a big difference to the way you feel.
