Finished today the Covid-19 Psychological First Aid Course from Public Health England and I have to say it was really interesting, never to old to learn something new. Well worth a go for anyone

Interesting evening, completing the first week of the Covid-19 Psychological First Aid Course from Public Health England. This could prove invaluable in supporting families in the future.

Today has been the most emotional I have ever faced as a celebrant and not embarrassed at all by the odd tearful moment. It was an honour to lead the ceremony today for the legend that was Chris Carberry. Never seen so many people out in St Helens and adhered to social distance. My thoughts with his mum, dad, sisters, Tash, all his family and good friends.
Sleep well mate x

Today has been a tough day as I have led two ceremonies. One girl and one boy taken from this world before their time. One the same age as me and one twenty years younger. Makes you think. I was genuinely moved to tears with both but I was uplifted by those families who could not thank you enough. On any normal day, both of those services would have been standing room only and I know that one of those services was streamed and has been viewed over 1000 times. Reaching those who can’t be there but wished they could be. Love to everyone and stay safe Tony x

I love my job, but heartbreaking being a celebrant at the minute. To watch people cry and you can’t even put an arm around them is soul destroying. All I can do is support my families in the best way that I know. I pray normality is in the not too distant future ♥️♥️

This picture is proof that I will do anything for the family’s I work with. 38 Years ago, my dad threw me over the turnstiles at Knowsley and I remain a Saints Fan to this day. But as we say farewell to a Wigan Fan, I wear this tie in honour of a rugby fan and regardless of who they are, that’s good enough for me
