A Week of Fun 🤩

We had a brilliant week to start February with lots of activities and trips out together. From preparing for Valentine’s Day with making clay crafts, to our weekly trip to Helping Hands community group and getting outdoors in our local park, it’s been another lovely week ❤️

⭐️ Employee of The Month ⭐️

We are so pleased and thankful to announce that for the final month of 2025, our employee of the month for December is our amazing Alan 👏

Alan so very much deserves this award for all his hard work in our grounds and gardens, especially in the cold and wet conditions! They are looking fantastic and ready for our ladies, gents and staff to enjoy when the weather warms up 🥰

Congratulations Alan and thank you for all you do for the home 👏

January So Far! 🥰

With the hustle and bustle of December over, we have had a lovely start to January with a couple trips out and about. Zack and Zoe went out to the Glass Horse pub in St Helens for their lunch with WISH Activity Team Members Jackie and Lisa. Zack enjoyed his spicy burger and Zoe enjoyed her sausage and mash - clean plates all round! Then Lisa and our lovely Glenys went to the Helping Hands club for a little song and dance together ❤️

🎂 Happy 6️⃣0️⃣ Birthday Sean 🎂

Last week, we celebrated our super Sean's 60th birthday! Sean is our longest residing resident here at Stocks Hall St Helens and so he deserved a wonderful day to help him celebrate 🎉

We had a singer "Justine" who did a great collection of songs. Everyone was up dancing and singing, they loved the party. Glenys even got Herman up dancing!

A fantastic day for our Sean ❤️

Great Start to The New Year ✨

We saw in 2026 with a fabulous New Year’s Eve party, arranged and sorted by the lovely Lorna! She planned everything from food to disco lights, so thank you and very well done Lorna. Everyone had a great time and some stayed up to the wee hours bringing in the New Year 💖

Our first trip out was to the local pub, the Gerrard Arms with our lovely gents, Jeff & Kevin, with WISH Activity Team members Jackie & Lisa. Jeff enjoyed his lasagne and Kevin had cheeseburger and chips 🥰

✨ Boxing Day Fun 🎤

After all the hustle and bustle of Christmas Day, what better way to relax and having fun that singing on the karaoke machine together 🤩

WISH Activity Team Member Lisa said, “Everyone enjoyed singing and dancing the afternoon away! Kathy did Robbie Williams, Joan sang Tom Jones’ Delilah, Maureen sang Danny Boy, Ann, our karaoke queen, sang Wig Wam Bam, Pamela sang Yellow Submarine and Dean sang The Gambler. It was lovely singing all the Christmas songs together too!” ❤️

🎄 Christmas Day 🎄

We had a wonderful time this Christmas Day, with all our staff going above and beyond to make the day so special for our ladies and gents ❤️

Our lovely Nurse Caz on duty said, “On Emerald Unit, everyone enjoyed opening presents, relaxing together and of course, eating a lovely Christmas dinner made by the kitchen staff! We had lovely family visits both in and out of the home.” 🥰
